KILLED BY DEAF! coming soon...

Hey kids. Exciting news! We've finished recording our second album! It's getting mixed as we speak, it's going to be called KILLED BY DEAF, and it should be out pretty damn soon. Stay tuned for updates.

We've got a show this very Friday night (August 19) at the Beetle Bar for the launch looooong awaited new album by Extra Foxx. It's been the better part of a decade in the making, but I'm sure it's worth the wait. The always-entertaining Little Lovers are playing, too, which only sweetens the deal. Should be a magical evening.

(Cheers to Nigel for the above photo of us playing in the 4ZZZ carpark the other weekend. We sounded as good/tropical as we looked.)

Gluey Gluey Gluey Gluey Gluey Gluey Gluey Baby

Hey pals. Long time no blog update. We've got a show this very SATURDAY JULY 30 in the 4ZZZ carpark. It'll be the CD launch and last show ever for the considerably awesome KIDS ON GLUE. Have a look at that flyer up there. Punk! Although I'm not sure I fully understand it. Do the puppeteer and the puppets BOTH represent the heartless plutocrats that control our world and rule over us like kings? That would be kind of confusing. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something.

Anyway, that's not important right now. What is, is that the show is FREE and ALL-AGES (so why not bring your kids/parents/pets/miscellaneous along for a good time) and also on the bill are LAST CHAOS and, probably someone else as well (apparently not Cursed Earth like it says on the flyer). We're on first at about 2PM (that's about 12 hours earlier in the day than last time we played!).

IN OTHER NEWS:  thanks to everyone who braved it out till the wee hours of the morning to see us at Flavours of Skuzz. Check out some photos on Mess+Noise and Collapse Board (thanks Slug Guts for the hat!) and a review on Time Off.

Also, Time Off has reviews of our recent shows with Front End Loader and No Anchor, and Collapse Board, after giving our LP a reasonably positive review a while back, has followed it up with an altogether more scathing one. Fair enough.

Stay punk/stay tuned, Undead Apes

SKUZZ update.

Hey pals, as you may or may not already be aware, Flavours of Skuzz will now be at Woodland, not the Jubilee. Please update your schedules accordingly, and while you're at it, why not use the magic of the internet to purchase a ticket or several.

In other exciting news, we've been recording some hot new tunes for our next LP and it's not too far off done - just gotta overdub some machine gun fire, police sirens and breaking glass to give it that dangerous edge. Stay tuned for more details as they come.

Hey kids. Our show with Seaplane at X+Y next weekend has been CANCELLED due to a double-booking or something. Bummer. Fear not, though, we've got a bunch of other exciting engagements to be announced shortly.
